This little 60' design was put forward by BPB for a boat
capable of countering U-boats in coastal waters threatening
coastal shipping. It's depthe charges were capable of countering
a submerged U-boat, but there was no way to track such a
submaringe, and with no major gun to counter a surfaced sub, it
was a flawed concept. As such, they were converted to Air-Sea
Rescue boats, or target towers.

Another BPB design. Despite being on the larger 70 foot hull
and with two powered aircraft turrets, this design too was flawed
in concept, and so they were converted to some of the first
MGB's, with a new armament.
